A fully lightened unit, retaining the standard size Ford clutch assembly used on all Zetec 2.0 engines from 1992 to present. Ideal for owners of Mondeo’s / Focus requiring a noticeable reduction in acceleration times, and of particular interest to those who have purchased a ‘crate’ Focus engine for use in a Kit Car, who wish to retain the clutch assembly supplied, but require a lightweight alternative to the RMP1305 specification flywheel & clutch assembly. The overall weight at 7.53 Kg (compared to the original 9.73 Kg ) results in quicker acceleration, a more freely revving engine, and slicker gear changes. The flywheel is supplied on an exchange basis, with the understanding that if a new item from a crate engine is supplied to us, then the lightweight unit supplied will also be new. |
